WordPress Plugin: CodingCereal Embed Demo Script

Finally, I was able to finish developing a simple plugin for codingcereal.com.

“CodingCereal Embed Demo Script“ is a wordpress plugin that enables the user to:

Insert javascript, css and meta script in the header area for their post.
Insert custom html scripts within their post using the [cc_embed_script] shortcode
Insert javascript codes in the body of the page

Limitations

Displaying of the demo codes are only shown on single post pages. Demo scripts for posts with the inserted shortcode that are displayed in other pages such as the home page, category and tags won’t be shown.
Doesn’t support server side scripting like PHP, only client-side scripts like CSS and Javascript

This plugin was primarily developed to make the embedding of sample demos for codingcereal.com easier. In the future, external demo pages for the site will be removed and we’ll just enjoy a single page entry

Sample Usage Embedded Script:

I used the jQuery UI Accordion to demonstrate the functionality of this plugin.
